you will be helping buyers all over the world purchase from our inventory of
+/- 6,000 boats and RVs.
You can start immediately.
There is no cost for the training
but it's also not paid.
It is ONLY suitable for people who are willing to put in the time, effort and commitment to be successful for the long-term.
There is an online training course which you'll need to complete and pass - at your own pace. This is free but not paid.
Our top consultants are making
$150-200k a year. Average is around $40-70k. First year and part time $10-30k.
There is no base salary, hourly pay or reimbursement for expenses. It's a very similar structure to being a real estate agent.
You'll need to be comfortable and competent on the computer, have a decent one and a high-speed internet connection.
You'll need a smartphone with a good camera and video or other quality equipment and be a decent photographer & video maker.
It's not possible to do this type of work using public transport and rideshare services could get prohibitively expensive.
you should have a way to cover your living costs for the first 3-6 months while you build up your listings and buyers.
But the more time you put in, the more sales you'll make and the more money you'll earn.
but the quicker you learn about them, the more successful you will be.
~~ Coordinate and schedule showings with buyers, sellers and / or other brokers.
~~ Lead all showings on your local listings for interested, qualified buyers.
~~ Write offers through our standardized online system.
~~ Be thoroughly knowledgeable about the contract and buying process to be able to guide buyers and sellers. You'll learn about this in the training.
~~ Have excellent, timely communication with buyers, sellers and colleagues throughout the entire sales process.
~~ Find sellers interested in listing their boat with our brokerage.
~~ Personally visit the boat to take photographs and make videos for the listing.
~~ Upload photos and videos into our system and complete the listing online.
~~ Compile and enter all the vessel specs and information.
*** Listings must be an honest and accurate representation of the vessel, with excellent photos and disclosing any known issues up-front.
*** Poaching listings from other brokerages is strictly not allowed!
((You will also be assigned listings from our in-house listing department.))
~~ Be present at all inspections, including the water trial, in-water or haul-our survey, mechanical inspection and / or rigging inspection after an offer has been accepted. For RVs, this is usually a personal or professional inspection and a test drive. These often take place on the same day.
~~ Assist our closing coordinator with scheduling the inspections if your help is occasionally needed.
~~ This requires at least 2-3 hours daily to contact new buyer and seller leads, answer questions, set up search criteria and send follow-up emails.
*** New buyer leads are assigned to you.
*** You can also get up to 50 buyer leads a day by working the database.
*** You can also find your own buyers (and sellers.)
((There is no charge for buyer or seller leads.))
~~ This is a 100% commission compensated 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
~~ There is no base salary or hourly pay.
~~ Your commission is based on the sale price of the boat or RV + how many you have sold.
~~ Your commission increases after 5, 10, 50, 100, 250 and 500 sales.
~~ Expenses are not covered or reimbursed.
~~ You can set your own schedule.
~~ You can mark yourself either partially or fully 'out of office' whenever you need to take a break.
~~ You can take vacations whenever you want and even work remotely while away from home.
~~ You can schedule showings, listing appointments and inspections for whenever works best for the buyer, the seller and you.
~~ Once scheduled, you must attend these.
~~ You will need to complete an online training course.
~~ You can complete the course at your own pace. The content covers 2.5 hours. This should take about 2-5 days to complete.
~~ You must pass the final quiz to ensure you've comprehending the material.
~~ Once you finish the training course, you'll be given at least 8 weeks ongoing practical training and support.
~~ The training is NOT DIFFICULT but there is a lot of new information to absorb.
